We will have Blue Bags with our QR code available at PTA-sponsored events.
If you can't attend, reach out to treasurer@springmountainpta.org to coordinate obtaining one!
Fill them up and then drop off at any Bottle Drop or partner retailer! 🥫♻️
Check out their Location Finder (https://www.bottledrop.com/locations/) to find a drop location. BottleDrop Give accounts are allowed to drop 15 Blue Bags total per day.

What is PTA?

PTA, the Parent Teacher Association at Spring Mountain Elementary, is a collaborative group of parents and staff striving to support Spring Mountain students. While we love our volunteers, we welcome all Spring Mountain families whether or not you are able to volunteer. Coming to our meetings is a great way to hear the latest news about Spring Mountain from our principal and to meet other parents. We also often host guest speakers from the community.

Being a PTA member is an excellent way to support our school and education on a national scale. PTA is one of the largest advocacy groups for children and educators in the country. When you join our local unit, you also support PTA at the state and national level. Scroll to the bottom for links to Oregon PTA and the National PTA websites. Check out some member benefits! Yes, we do scoop ice cream, host events, and many other things with fun in mind. However, each of those things are planned with a greater goal. We want to be sure that your children and the staff that work with them are supported, inspired, and given chances to create memories and educational experiences to last a lifetime.

Many of the jobs we do are visible, some are behind the scenes, and all vary in the time needed to complete the task. You can be assured though, that any of the time or resources that you share with us will be put to good use and will make a difference. We are excited to have you join us! We are happy to work with all schedules and skill sets to find a spot that’s just right! Come join us! It just might be fun!

Events were carefully chosen based on the survey results we received, and we’re optimistic that with enough team members on each committee, each event will be fun for everyone involved!

Join PTA

Spring Mountain families and community members are always welcome to join us at meetings whether or not they are PTA members. However, do consider becoming a member. Being a member will allow you to vote on issues such as our budget and Executive Board members. Membership is affordable too--$10 per person per academic year. Parents, Grandparents, and even students are encouraged to join. It's easy! The link below will take you to the Oregon PTA website membership page.
